Whats
new? Well I revamped the website a little. I found iTunes links to our old
Elefant compilations. Now you can download those tracks without having to buy
the whole CD’s from the iTunes page. There will be
a ltd EP released in early 2007 followed hopefully by the acoustic CD later in
the year. We also have a myspace
page, where you can hear our music.

Well
it’s nice to have had some time off. We are now working on the next record
which we hope to have out this year, it’s mainly acoustic using natural
instruments. I updated the links page and added a few more. Firstly, Luxo 100
which is Liz’s bossanova band she plays in, secondly a belated add to Bob
Hinrichs, a fine bay area musician, who has a new cd called ‘soulever’ which is
like, if the Beatles had started in the 80’s and used synths they might’ve
sounded like this.

As usual nothing happens as fast as you think it
will. Our new record is at the pressing plant as we speak, and will be
officially released on Oct 3rd. It‘s called ‘the am sounds of evergreen dazed’,
and runs to 12 tracks (with a hidden bonus track). It sounds like broken road
pt 2.

I just got back from the mastering session for the
new CD. Gary Hobish did a fabulous job making our home recorded music sound

Broken Road finally gets a review!! Ptolemaic
Terrascope say it’s fabulous, and compares us to Richard and Linda Thompson.
What an honour. I just wish I could play guitar as well as him.

It’s
been a long time but we did it! We finished our new record. It has 11 or 12
tracks (not sure if we should drop one of them yet, need to keep listening to
it) and will be released in early 2005 probably April. No gigs until then. We
played fun shows at Brainwash (with some great bands) and Kensington Circus
(our favorite place to play), and thanks to all who made the effort to come.
The website may be down for a few weeks as we are switching ISP’s in the next
week or two. The sounds link on the front page now goes straight to the CDBaby stream for ‘broken road’.

Summer
is busy too. We are recording the next record. Lots of songs to do. We have
taken a break from performing until September, to do as much as we can. Hoping
to have it in the can by October for an early 2005 release.

Well
it’s been a busy few months for us. We played a few gigs and met a lot of great
new people. The CD is available from us via paypal or through cdbaby. It’s also in bay
area emporiums like Amoeba and Rasputins. In April we’ll start recording our
next record. We’ve got loads of songs but don’t know yet how it’s going to turn
out, it could be acoustic, poppy, a single, or double.

We
got the CD mastered yesterday at A. Hammer Sound in SF. And mighty fine it
sounds too. We are just getting the stuff ready for the pressing plant so I
guess we’re looking at October for a release. We are now half way through the
next record, which is a low-key acoustic thing with minimal live percussion.
This should be finished by January and released around April 2004.

We
went back and redid some things on the songs causing the delay. They have all
been mixed and will be mastered at the end of January. Artwork is in hand, some
of which you can see on the main page.
The
unreleased album from 1998 will hopefully see the light of day this year along
with the remastered version of the first album.

The
new CD which has yet to be titled will be mastered in August. Currently we are
looking at an October release date.
On
another note, I have decided to finally release the first album on CD. I will
be filling it to the gills with bonus tracks once I establish what’s in the
archive from that period that is releasable. This should happen in April 2003.
I
have recently purchased a scanner and will be adding a picture page and
updating the discography page with releases that haven’t yet been scanned.
